before you start...

Getting to know who you're writing for is the most important part of this process.

Everything you put on your website is for your client. That means, you need to know exactly who they are.

What kind of dreamy clients do you want to attract? What are they struggling with right now? What is their life like before they work with you? What does their life look like after they work with you? How do you make a difference in their world?

These are very important questions. Without them, your web copy won't have a chance of succeeding.

If you need some ideas on how to find out more about your dream clients, read this post.

YOUR HOMEWORK: Invest some time in getting to know who you're trying to attract with your web copy. Print out this worksheet and think about your answers. Be as thorough as you can - it will pay off when it comes time to start writing.
